In 2002, Greenestuff, Inc. opened a production studio that expanded to house an editing suite, audio studios, props and set construction wing, executive offices, and two sound stages. Character costumes were constructed and the show's concept was presented at the industry National Association of Television Program Executives (NATPE) Conference in Las Vegas. Upon receiving favorable reviews, Greenestuff thereafter raised sufficient equity capital to begin the production of television episodes. By July of 2003, the first two episodes were recorded.
The business expanded its promotional activities at trade conferences, such as NATPE and the Licensing International show. The two episodes were shown to industry representatives and several important marketing contacts, such as Behr Entertainment, Commonwealth Toy, Time Warner, Paramount, Nickelodeon, Sony, and MGM.
In early 2004, 13 half-hour shows were produced in order to obtain a network television pilot.
