From the children’s television series, “My Bedbugs" will be visiting children at Mercy Children’s Hospital on Thursday June 8, 2006, giving hugs, taking pictures and dancing, to help brighten up the day. “These are the events that make my job meaningful,” said Jimmy Romeo the booking agent of Greenestuff. The appearance at Mercy Children’s Hospital is not open to the public, but families with young children who also want to see “My Bedbugs” may watch them perform live June 11, 2006, in Maumee at The Indoor Theater at 3:00 p.m. The loveable "My Bedbugs" characters were recently introduced to area families on WGTE Family/PBS Toledo, Saturday and Sunday at 11:30 a.m. They have received a very enthusiastic welcome from parents and kids alike. This brand new stage show includes favorite scenes from TV episodes, as well as, a surprise guest who helps the Bugs learn a very special lesson.
Whether on stage or screen, "My Bedbugs” entertains and educates kids ages 3-8 with energetic characters, music, and animation. Since debuting on Detroit Public Television in 2004, the award winning show has been picked up steadily by PBS stations across much of the U.S and Canada.
